A PowerPoint slide can be designed in portrait or landscape orientation. The default orientation for a slide is landscape, in which the slide is wider than it is tall. Sometimes it is useful to set up a slide in portrait orientationthe slide is taller than it is wideparticularly if you are using PowerPoint to create a one-page flyer.
