Status Bar

Located at the bottom of the Lotus Notes and Designer client is an event history area. This area displays the most current event message. In addition to the most recent message, you can click on the Status bar to display the last 20 event messages. Messages are displayed from oldest (at the top) to most current (at the bottom).

Tip

The Status bar can be very helpful in debugging applications. Using the Print method in LotusScript or @StatusBar within a formula, you can display data values at various execution points to determine what code has been executed. See Chapter 21, "Troubleshooting," for additional tips and tricks for debugging a Notes database.
