Gatekeeper Configuration

Previous chapters looked at how Cisco IOS gatekeepers function, what protocols they use, and what benefits they provide in an H.323 network. This chapter discusses how to actually implement Cisco IOS gatekeepers in the network.

This chapter will help you to do the following:

  • Troubleshoot basic gatekeeper configurations
  • Configure a Cisco CallManager system to use a gatekeeper for both H.323 and intercluster trunks
