Special Tips for Working with Multi-form Applications
Summary
This chapter highlighted some advanced tips and techniques in multi-form application development. The topics considered were data sharing forwards and backwards , form management in an OPEN_FORM configuration with particular reference to proper navigation, committing, and exiting sequence, and simulating a CLOSE ALL FORMS. Of special mention was the technique described for checking the query-only mode of a called form. The code presented can be directly incorporated into a Forms library and used as such.
