The Timeline panel is where you will spend the most time in Adobe Premiere Pro. The Timeline panel is the interface in which you can see the physical representation of your video clips and edit them together. I like to think of the Timeline panel as a canvas or videotape, which slowly takes shape and definition as you work. For the original release of Premiere Pro, Adobe completely revamped not only the Timeline panel's design, but also its editing functionality (Figures 5.1).
