We've covered the Macromedia method for enhancing Dreamweaver MX in this chapter. Using extensions, you can add new features and functionality to the already rich set of options Dreamweaver MX provides. Macromedia Extension Manager lets you manage extensions with ease. You can add, disable, and completely remove extensions from your copy of Dreamweaver MX. Macromedia also provides approved extensions (extensions that have passed a series of tests) on the Macromedia Exchange website. We've described how to use the Macromedia Exchange site and also shown you a few of the more than 600 extensions available.
