What Is SAS ETL Studio?
SAS ETL Studio is an application that enables you to manage ETL process flows—sequences of steps for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data. The data is loaded into a set of target data stores that are typically part of a data warehouse or a data mart. As you probably know, a data warehouse can support a business intelligence system, such as a customer relationship management (CRM) system. A data mart can support a specialized set of users who have a finite set of queries and reports.
SAS ETL Studio is not a stand-alone application. It is only one product in a SAS intelligence solution.
