Chapter 21
Microsoft NetMeeting is a program that lets you engage in a conference with one or many users across the Internet or a local area network. If your computer has a sound card, a microphone, and speakers, you can talk to another person in something approximating real time. If you have a video camera connected to your computer, you can exchange video images. With or without audio and video equipment, you can "chat" with others, exchange drawings and diagrams by means of a virtual whiteboard, send and receive files, and even work simultaneously in a shared program. When you're not in a meeting, you can control another computer remotely using NetMeeting's Remote Desktop Sharing.
