Surfing the Web with Instant Messenger Tabs

In addition to sending messages, Instant Messenger can act as a Web viewer. By default you have only one Tab set up, the Buddy List, which allows you to display which of your buddies are online and manipulate your lists. You can add additional Tabs that also allow you to view certain Web sites.

Adding Tabs

1. Click on the Tabs drop-down list . A list of different Tabs will appear. The Tabs with check marks beside them are the ones that are open .

2. Click on the desired Tab . The window will change to show the contents of that Tab. You can repeat steps 1 and 2 to add as many Tabs as you like or to remove Tabs.

   

3. Click on the Tabs to toggle between them.

   

Removing Tabs

To remove a Tab, you simply deselect it from the Tabs list.

2. Click on a Tab with a check mark beside it to deselect it and close that Tab.
