The following keyboard shortcuts let you quickly activate, display, and hide the palettes you need. When a palette has only one tab, the keyboard shortcut acts as a toggle: if the palette is displayed, pressing the shortcut hides the palette; and if the palette is hidden, pressing the shortcut displays it. When a palette has multiple tabs, pressing the keyboard shortcut:
Displays the palette if it s hidden
Activates the palette if it s displayed but one of the other tabs is active
Hides the palette if it s displayed and active
Note | In Windows, the Highlight palette, the History palette, and the In & Out Links palette are separate palettes, whereas on the Mac these palettes are combined with other palettes. So in Windows, the keyboard shortcuts for these palettes simply toggle the display of the palettes. |
