This chapter covered all the basics of the major data types and variables. Remember that variables are used as containers for data, and when creating them, even if they are left empty, it is good practice to give them a data type.
Also, use caution when changing the data type of variables. It is better to create a separate variable to hold the value as a different data type than to keep swapping the data type throughout your code.
In the next chapter, we go over the Array data type in more detail to show the benefits of using sequential data.
