Preparing to Work

The primary element in the first sequence of the final project is moving footage of a Saleen car's dashboard. The dashboard contains three circular gauges on which you'll create virtual reflections of two additional movies and a still image. You'll import that footage and the Saleen logo in this section and create the composition for the first sequence.

To prepare for this project, do the following:

1.	Start with a new project, and name it Ch19TrackingReflections.
2.	Import the Footage and Stills folders as footage from this chapter's folder on the book's DVD. (The Footage folder contains three AVI files, and the Stills folder contains one JPEG file and a PSD file.)
3.	Create a new composition named Reflections, using the NTSC DV, 720x80 composition preset, with Duration 10;00 seconds.
