This book assumes that you know HTML and that you have experience with a programming language, such as Visual Basic, Java, or VBScript. Almost all the code discussed in this book was written with Visual Basic. However, if you are familiar with VBScript, you should have very little trouble understanding the code samples. The CD that accompanies this book contains both VB.NET and C# versions of all the code samples. To get the most from the database chapters, you should have some experience working with a database, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Microsoft Access.
