Chapter 14

Implementing Security for Domain Controllers

Microsoft Windows 2000 domain controllers provide the Active Directory directory service to Windows 2000 forests. The domain controllers maintain the Active Directory database and must be secure to prevent the compromise of the Active Directory database and the objects stored within the database. This chapter looks at the security measures you must take to protect domain controllers and to ensure that the Active Directory database is secure.
