You can't do much if you can't see what you're doing, especially in photo repair. Fortunately, you can zoom in and out on your pictures with a mouse click or a key combination. It's not an infinite zoom. Each mouse click enlarges or shrinks the image to a certain percentage of its original size. You can view at 25%, 50%, 66.7%, 75%, 100%, and so on up to 1600%. The menu also has a command to fit the picture to the screen, even though that may not be a precise percentage enlargement . A Grid and Rulers are also included in the View menu. The Grid has a "snap-to" feature that you can toggle on and off from the menu. When it's on, if you try to align a line of type to a certain point, the grid will move it to the closest vertical and horizontal lines. Depending on where you want the type, that may or may not be helpful. Turn it off if it's a nuisance. |
