Real World Photoshop has grown in size with each subsequent edition. This one is no exception, but in this revision we've taken the opportunity to go through the entire book with a fine-tooth comb and remove all the stuff that may have made sense in the twentieth century but has now either been superseded, rendered moot by new tools and techniques, or simply drifted into that category our friend and colleague Fred Bunting succinctly terms "more interesting than relevant." Photoshop has changed over the years, and, for better or worse, so have we. Many techniques we thought brilliant in our salad days now seem like cleverness for the sake of cleverness. Given the choice between dazzling you with our skill and knowledge, and telling what you need to know to get the job done quickly and effectively without compromising quality, we've gone for the latter. |
