Clearing Contact Search

I've used the Contact QuickFind feature several times. But now every search I ever made is listed in the QuickFind drop-down list. How can I clear this list?

The QuickFind history is stored in the Windows Registry. You can clear this history by deleting the following Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Contact\QuickFindMRU

As always, be sure that you have a current backup of the Registry before making any changes to it.

Searching Across Stores

I want to search for all items in both my mailbox and several public folders on the Exchange Server. How can I do this?

Unfortunately, you can't. All searches (including search folders) are limited to your one store at a time. You can search your Exchange mailbox, a Personal Folders file, or an Archive file, just not all at the same time.
