Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to plan and manage a geographically distributed development (GDD) environment. You found out the challenges and then explored the assets and tools found in Team System. We delved deeper into the Team Foundation Proxy and the distributed load testing tools, and we examined different scenarios where you could apply a deployment of multiple Team Foundation Build servers. Finally, we explored internationalization issues.

In the next chapter, we will look at reporting and how it can be used to measure both distributed teams and centralized development teams.
