Reveal Formatting

Another useful feature in relation to text formatting is the Reveal Formatting feature. This feature allows you to quickly review the font and paragraph formatting (and section formatting, sections are discussed in Lesson 20, "Working with Larger Documents") used on your text.

To use Reveal Formatting, select the text for which you want to view the formatting information. Select the Format menu and then select Reveal Formatting . The Reveal Formatting task pane will open as shown in Figure 5.5. To view the formatting on a word, click on the word. To view the formatting on more than one word of text, select the text.
