14.5. DPGUI

A Tcl/Tk-based graphical user interface suite of applications, DPGUI is provided by Kevin Walzer and Lori Jareo of WordTech Software (http://www.wordtech-software.com). The DPGUI suite consists of two applications, PortBase and PortView. PortBase, shown in Figure 14-1, is used to install DarwinPorts, update the DarwinPorts infrastructure, and add new or updated port descriptions. The PortView application, shown in Figure 14-2, allows you to manage the installation, updating, and removal of DarwinPorts software ports.
