For each requirement described in the requirements template, ask these questions:

• Does this requirement apply to the industry type or organizational environment or technological environment for which I am building a requirements filter? If so, then add the requirement to the requirements filter.

• Thinking about a requirement will often trigger ideas about other requirements that are not mentioned in the requirements template. Are any other requirements relevant to the requirements filter that you are building? If so, then add them to the requirements filter.
