Preparing to Work

This project consists entirely of content created in After Effects 6.5. The majority of the text layers are contained within two nested compositions. You'll create folders in your project window to help organize the project's elements.

To prepare for this project, do the following:

1.	Start with a new project, and save it as Ch11TextPresets.
2.	Create a folder named Comps.
3.	Create a new composition named Base Text Comp using the NTSC D1 Square Pix, 720x540 preset, with Duration 8;00 seconds.
4.	Turns on the Composition window's Title-Action Safe button, and set the Magnification Ratio pop-up menu to 100% so you can see your text better in the next section.
