[Nemeth+ 01] Nemeth, Evi, Garth Snyder, Scott Seebass, and Trent R. Hein. Unix System Administration Handbook . The Bible. There is now a version of this book by a subset of the same authors specifically for Linux. We've just got our copy and haven't had a chance to look through it, but based on their previous work, we're sure it's good.
