Summary

This chapter reintroduced you to ADO.NET 2.0. Yes, I assumed that you know a bit about ADO.NET and perhaps a bit about ADO classic, but I think I was able to fill in the essential gaps pretty well. I showed you how Visual Studio and the languages can be used to expose and instantiate these objects, and how they can be referenced in code. Yes, virtually all of these objects and their properties, methods, functions, and events are discussed and illustrated with examples in later chapters.
