INTRODUCTION

Word makes printing a document easy and enables you to select the printer and font settings. You can print the whole document, a single page, specific page ranges, specific separate pages, or selected text. You can also specify the number of copies to print and collate the copies as you print.

TIP

Print Range Options

Type specific pages in the Pages box (for example, 1-3, 5), or select Current Page (the page with the cursor). To print only a certain portion of a document, first select the text; then select File, Print; and select the Selection option.

HINT

Canceling a Print Job

If you need to cancel a print job you sent to the printer, double-click the Printing Job indicator on the status bar to open the Printer job window. Right-click the document name, and select Cancel from the shortcut menu.
