Summary

As our devices and applications become more powerful, they also need to become smarter and more clever. They need to harness their own power, performing multiple tasks instead of single ones to improve themselves and users' experience with them. They need to adapt to usersand users to them. Their designers need to become sophisticated about revealing their seams so that users can find unexpected uses for devices. And devices need to become context aware and more sensitive to human attention limits, demanding less of our time and awareness. Interaction designers are the ones who will make this happen.
