Chapter 15

Microsoft Windows 2000 supports two clustering technologies: Network Load Balancing clusters and server clusters. These two technologies can be combined to provide a highly available and highly scalable cluster. This chapter describes the two types of clustering supported by Windows 2000, their place in the enterprise, and their configuration and requirements.
