According to the WTO's trade policy review mechanism, China's trade policy will be reviewed every four years , the same as for those countries that have similar trade shares to China. At the same time, the Protocol has a provision on the transitional review mechanism, as the commitments made by China and other the WTO members in the negotiations will be mainly implemented within 10 years from China's accession. Within eight years after China's accession to the WTO, the relevant WTO committee will conduct annual reviews on China's implementation of WTO obligations and commitments, and annual reviews shall terminate in the 10th year.
