Get(ActiveFieldName)Category: Get Syntax: Get ( ActiveFieldName ) Parameters: none Description: Returns the name of the field that currently contains the cursor. Examples: Get ( ActiveFieldName ) Returns Name_First when the cursor is in the Name_First field. Comments: Even when the active field is a related or unrelated field from another table, Get ( ActiveFieldName ) simply returns the field's name. It does not use the double- colon syntax "relationshipName::FieldName." When using Get() functions within field definitions, in most cases you should set the storage option to be "unstored" so that the field always displays current data. |
