All HIPAA transaction set schemas represented as annotated XML-Data Reduced (XDR) document specifications in BizTalk Server.
BizTalk Accelerator for HIPAA also takes advantage of the BizTalk Server 2002 platform for converting other document formats into Extensible Markup Language (XML), data mapping and transformation, application integration, and electronic data interchange (EDI). In addition to handling data transfer and application integration, BizTalk Server 2002 includes a suite of tools, which provide several interfaces for creating and transforming XML files and for control of business processes.
