1. http://msdn.microsoft.com. Contains an overview and details of the Uniscribe APIs. Also provides the Microsoft Windows Platform SDK, which has many helpful comments in USP10.h, the header file for Uniscribe.
2. http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/articles/multilang.asp. "Multilanguage text support in Windows 2000." Points to an article on employing Uniscribe for formatted layout; also looks at sample code that uses Uniscribe.
3. The Cssamp.exe file in the Samples subdirectory on the companion CD contains information on Uniscribe coding techniques.
