Setting up a network consists of the following major tasks :
Purchasing a Vista Capable PC or practically any PC today means it has a network interface card.
Choosing and buying the hardware (see "Buying Network Hardware" later in this chapter).
Configuring Windows to use the network (see Chapter 30).
While you needn't be a network engineer to set up a small P2P network, you do need to have some knowledge about your computer. You need to be able to use Windows Vista to configure each computer to communicate on the LAN.
