The Workshop consists of quiz questions and answers to help you solidify your understanding of the material covered in this hour. You should try to answer the questions before checking the answers.

Quiz

1:	What's the best image format for static images? JPG. GIF. It depends.
2:	What happens to users who don't have the Flash Player when they visit your site? Their machine crashes. It depends on a variety of factors. The Flash Player is automatically installed and, with the exception of a short delay for downloading, users always experience the site as you intended.
3:	Are all the formats that Flash can export visible under the Publish Settings dialog box's Formats tab? Yes. This is where you specify details for such exported files. No. Flash will export other types of files. However, you can't control the export details, so they're not listed here. No. Flash can export other file types than what's listed in the Export Movie dialog box (and from the Export Image dialog box, too).

Quiz Answers

A1:	C. The best quality and smallest file size depends on the nature of the image. Photographic images usually look best in JPG format, and geometric images are better in GIF format. The best way to compare is to test each (and compare file sizes as well).
A2:	B. Only if the user has a pretty new browser will he upgrade automatically (provided that you use the HTML contained in the appropriate template).
A3:	C. Other export file types are available. The ones in the Publish Settings dialog box are, generally, just the web formats.
