Save and Save Again

Do your good saving habits ever come back to haunt you? We are so good at hitting Save that sometimes we save an experiment that we didn't mean to keep. Well with the release of After Effects 6.5, Adobe offers a way to protect yourself from Art Directors, clients , or your own ˜bad ideas.

The new incremental save feature will save the project using the project name and an incremented numeric identifier. For example, IWASCV01.aep would become IWASCV02.aep.

1. Have a project open and make modifications.

2. Choose File>Increment and Save.
