Premiere Pro works hand-in-hand with Adobe Photoshop's layering capabilities, enabling you to import Photoshop files with each layer in a separate sequence. Using the nesting technique, you then can group specifi clayers in one sequence to apply effects to the entire group. If you want to vary the effect within the group, you just simply go into the original nested sequence and adjust the layer/track directly. Throughout the course of this book, you will see the nesting concept referenced again and again; in many instances, nesting is a highly practical and valuable technique. In the next chapter, you will create a photo montage, integrating a still image sequence with the map sequence that you just created. Using custom presets, you will add your own motion adjustments to create beautiful and precise image pans to your still image files. |
