1. Paste Illustrator paths onto solid layers to create masks for the letters in the final project.

2. Use a nonrendering Guide layer as reference when positioning the masks.

3. Use the Stroke effect to create outlines of each letter.

4. Create elaborate and precise animations by pasting the Illustrator paths again.

5. Animate the Stroke effect to create the illusion of live drawing.

6. Use a Keyframe Assistant to instantly create a mirror copy of your animations in time.
