Chapter 2. Using a Development Process on a Small Project

Most people intuitively know what a small project is. To paraphrase Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart, you know a small project when you see one. ^[1] In this chapter, we discuss what we mean when we talk about a small project. We also describe one way to introduce a development process into a small project environment.
