Exploring Jam Packs

If you really enjoy creating music with GarageBand, you can expand your musical horizons with the GarageBand Jam Pack Series. These expansion packages of additional song-building elements give you thousands of new ways to enhance your music projects. Literally! Each is loaded with over 2,000 new Apple Loops in a wide variety of instruments and genres, plus additional GarageBand Software Instruments, audio effects presets, and new guitar amp settings.

Do you remember the first time you ever got to color with the "big box" of crayons? Not the little 8- or 10-pack, but the big box that had 14 different blues and colors like sienna, periwinkle, and tangerine. Well, these are the musical equivalent of the big box. In fact, the Jam Pack Series makes the big crayon box look like a colorful appetizer.

Each Jam Pack in the series is sold separately and includes different musical elements that can be used for both GarageBand and Logic.

GarageBand Jam Pack 1 is a grab bag of new sounds across a wide variety of instruments and styles, including rock, funk, fusion, world, and electronic.

GarageBand Jam Pack 2: Remix Tools is for electronic dance music enthusiasts across a number of genres, including Hip-Hop, R&B, Techno, Trance, and other Electronica styles.

GarageBand Jam Pack 3: Rhythm Section provides the core building blocks of drums, percussion, bass, and guitars for rock, jazz, folk, and country and blues musicians.

GarageBand Jam Pack 4: Symphony Orchestra includes strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, piano, and more to help you conduct your own lush symphonic music.
