Don't get the idea that you have to work exclusively using adjustment layers, layer masks, blending modes, and the History Brush. Photoshop offers multiple methods of doing just about anything, so we present these as interesting and often useful approachesit's up to you to decide whether and when to use them. You can mix and match the techniques in this chapter with the more conventional techniques described in the previous one. Nonetheless, working with these techniques offers a huge amount of freedom to experiment.
