Too Many Holidays

All of a sudden I seem to have multiple sets of holidays listed in my calendar. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are each listed three times on the same day. How did this happen?

This can happen if you run the Add Holidays to Calendar wizard more than once with the same set of holidays checked. You can run the wizard as many times as you need, but you should uncheck all previously added holiday sets when adding a new set of holidays. Unfortunately, the easiest way to remedy this situation is to remove all holidays from your calendar and start over. Switch to the Events view and sort your view by location. That should group most of the holidays in the same group. Delete all holidays and then run the Add Holidays to Calendar Wizard once more to add only the holidays you need.

If you add the same set of holidays on different days, you can add the Created Date field to your By Events view. Sort your view by the Created Date field and then you can delete all the holidays created on the same date.

Why Am I Receiving Other People's Meeting Requests?

All of a sudden, I'm receiving meeting requests meant for my boss. Is there a reason and can I turn it off?

If your boss has set you up as a delegate on his Exchange account, you'll receive a copy of his meeting requests. You might ask your boss if there's a reason he wants you configured as a delegate on his account. If there is, you can simply delete the meeting requests you receive if your boss doesn't want you to act on them.
