Don't have the latest computer hardware available? Have to run one program at a time so the thing doesn't chug, chug, chug away? Not to worry, you may be able to get Flash running a bit faster if you clear its History every once in a while. This is especially helpful if you have been working for a while on several different files, which results in several histories existing in memory. Clear the history of a document quickly by opening the panel (ALT-F10 or OPT-F10 on Mac) and going to the panel menu (top-right corner) to choose Clear History. It's kind of like clearing your browser cache, except that everything in these histories is in memory instead of on your disk so they can slow you down quite a bit. Hopefully things will speed up a bit after that. If not, you may want to save up for a newer system.
