Starting EDT in Full-Screen Mode Automatically

Most users will want to start EDT in full-screen mode. This may be accomplished by using an initialization file. This file contains commands that will be executed automatically when EDT starts. To use this feature, create a file called EDTINI.EDT in your login directory. It should consist of one line that reads SET MODE CHANGE (you may add additional commands later to suit your preferences.) Thereafter, use the command EDIT/EDT/COMMAND=SYS$LOGIN:EDTINI.EDT to start EDT (or define a short symbol to represent it in your LOGIN.COM file). When EDT starts, the commands in EDTINI.EDT will be performed automatically.
