Once you've set up your hardware and streamlined Mac OS X, the next step is to install, test, and optimize Final Cut Pro. There are many ways to customize the software to better support a particular workflow. Generally, these options are not tied to individual projects, but relate to the overall performance of FCP and behavior of certain tools or functions.
