Applying Effects to Images

It makes a difference if you apply a drop shadow to the frame or to the image inside the frame.

To apply effects to imported images:

• Select the object with the Selection tool to apply the effect to the frame that contains the image .

  Select the image with the Direct Selection tool to apply the effect to the image within the frame .
  
  

  Tip

  If you apply a drop shadow to an image, you may need to enlarge the size of the frame in order to see the shadow.
