Summary | 320 |
A form allows you, the developer, to ask structured questions of the visitor, enabling you to elicit desired information. With a form, you can just ask for the visitor's name and email address; you also can have visitors take a survey, sign a guest book, provide feedback on your site, or even make a purchase. Forms are standard tools for the web designer. This chapter covers how forms work in the web environment, the basics of creating forms in Dreamweaver MX 2004, how to make your forms attractive and accessible, and different ways that JavaScript and Dreamweaver behaviors can make your forms more interactive.
