Tables are one of the mainstays of a web designer's life, useful for data display and page layout. In this chapter, you learned how tables work in HTML and what you can do with them. We also covered the wide range of tools and commands Dreamweaver puts at your disposal for working with tables. In addition, we explored techniques and strategies for creating functional, stable tables for page layout, and how to approach translating page layouts into table terms. The following chapters in this part of the book look at other aspects of page design with Dreamweaver, including forms, frames, and CSS.
