As previously mentioned, the Fedora source and binaries are openly available and are free to distribute providing you comply with the Fedora Project trademark rules. You are also encouraged to participate. How? There are a number of things you can do:
Contribute code or documentation.
Report bugs .
Provide online support through mailing lists.
In the future, Red Hat will be making a source code system (Concurrent Versions System [CVS]) available, allowing you to view its contents and, if an approved contributor , commit changes to various packages. If you have any questions, you can direct them to fedora- devel -list@redhat.com .
In addition, reporting bugs or requesting enhancements is another good method for making changes to packages via http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla .
