There is a wide scope for the use and extension of the core slice engine and samples outlined in this chapter. We discussed some pretty fundamental implementations of the core engine all based around a single object. There are many ways in which this engine can be extended ”for instance, for use in 3D logos, navigation systems, instructional and education applications, game engines, and even good old creative Flash experiments. It's possible to create multiple base objects, each with its own unique functionality that can work independently or with other objects. Try replicating some of the samples in the SWF_samples folder, available with this chapter's downloaded example files, or try creating your own effects. The key to success is plenty of experimentation, while keeping things simple and tidy.
