Troubleshooting

Overview

This chapter provides some tips and strategies for troubleshooting Formula Language, LotusScript, agents, and general application development problems or errors.

As with any software development language, understanding "what happened" when a function fails or produces an unexpected result can be challenging. Even experienced developers encounter problems and have to troubleshoot errors in the database design. However, given some rudimentary tools and armed with a couple problem-solving approaches, you too will be able to correct any problem that may arise.
