Even though SBS 2003 has many uniquely implemented technologies, the most exciting technology that is unique to SBS 2003 is Remote Web Workplace (RWW). Many consultants have reported that this feature alone has accounted for the sale of SBS to potential clients who were otherwise lukewarm about the SBS product. Many other consultants have asked Microsoft when RWW will be made available for other platforms. For now, RWW belongs only to SBS and will probably remain that way for the foreseeable future.

One component of RWW, the capability to remotely control servers and desktops through a web interface, is often alluded to as RWW itself. This chapter covers all the aspects of the RWW interface, including the remote control capabilities.
